What is it all about?
WebM is a free open source media file format used primarily to transfer any video to the web. is a degenerate version of Truska container format but the sound can only be encoded in Vorbis and video can only be VP8 or VP9 encoding. the common browsers Chromium / Chrome, Firefox and Opera knows introduce WebM videos while Internet Explorer and Safari require an external plugin for displaying movies.
